Abstract: The tourism sector benefits from robotics in many ways. Robots can perform a wide variety of tasks, from checking in to delivering room service and assisting at tourist attractions, in turn helping to deliver an exceptional and unique experience to travelers, with greater efficiency and quality of service. In addition, robots can provide accurate and up-to-date information on tourist destinations and services tailored to each customer's needs, driving innovation and competitiveness in the sector and opening new opportunities for the application of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and virtual reality. There are also limitations and challenges associated with their presence. The integration of robotics in tourism must be carefully balanced to ensure that the benefits outweigh the potential drawbacks and keep the focus on the tourist and providing them with a good experience. Therefore, tourism professionals must understand how these robots work and how to improve efficiency and service quality and make the most of this technology to deliver an exceptional and unique experience to travelers. It is also essential to find the right balance between automation human interactions, to consider the benefits and potential negative impacts to ensure that the rights and needs of tourists and tourism workers are protected. In conclusion, the assessment of whether the presence of robots in tourism is good or bad will depend on how these technologies are implemented and managed.
