Abstract: | The thermal processes are characterized by generating a slow first-order response; these are stable systems. This characteristic favors controlling and monitoring the temperature in all ranges, dispensing with expensive devices to automate these processes. Thus, multiple low-cost proposals meet the technical requirements and include industry 4.0 features. This work presents a web monitoring system for thermal processes. To collect the temperatures, DHT22 sensors and an ESP32 board are used. The proposal includes Internet of Things technology, sending the data to the ThingSpeak server for remote viewing. The tests are carried out in a cold room heating process using a heater; Fig. 1 shows the temperatures of both components, observing how the temperature in the room stabilizes. The temperatures in the cooling room range from −1 [°C] to 27 [°C], and in the heater from 25 [°C] to 59 [°C]. Finally, the applications and limitations of the monitoring system are analyzed. |
