Abstract: The Internet of Things applications have benefited from the new integrated systems available on the market and the monitoring of electrical variables has become a necessity in the domestic and industrial fields. For this reason, this work presents the monitoring of electrical parameters using an M5Stack Core2 device. To obtain the electrical parameters, PZEM 004T V3.0 is used, this sensor allows reading voltage, current, active power, power factor, and active energy. For remote monitoring, the web service of the ThingSpeak platform is used. On this page, the information is presented graphically with a sample time of 15 s. The tests are carried out by monitoring the operation of a 3D printer while it manufactures a part. To validate the measurements, a commercial meter is used as a control instrument. The results show the online data and the comparative graphs between the proposed meter and the commercial meter, obtaining an error of 0.176% for the voltage and 7.085% for the current, which allows the proposal to be validated.
