    Abstract: Entrepreneurship means much more than starting a new business, it is the opportunity for people to become more creative, proactive, and innovative. Likewise, in the current economic crisis in the world due to the covid 19 pandemic, it is known that, in addition to being an alternative to increase the productivity of companies, while reducing unemployment rates, the social factor is also a determining factor for the growth and sustained development of entrepreneurs. The objective of the research is to carry out a comparative analysis of the social factors that affect Latin American entrepreneurs and their influence pre and post covid in the period corresponding to the years 2019-2021. Thus, data were collected from secondary sources both from national and international statistical offices, likewise documentary-bibliographic research was carried out through the review of different scientific articles, documents, books, texts and doctoral theses in order to build the state of the art. The result is the discussion among public, non-governmental and private sector actors on policies that stimulate the emergence of new enterprises and the strengthening of existing ones with general information on the entrepreneur, factors that affect entrepreneurship and the sustainability of the enterprise.
